Janine Fountain enlisted in the Marines.

She served as the quartermaster of VFW Santa Ana Post 10694 before serving at the District 2 level. 

At the District, she held the positions of Jr Vice Cmdr, Sr Vice Cmdr, and Commander. 

She is currently a member of VFW Anaheim Post 3173.
